Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with The Clown Company. By confirming a booking, you agree to the following:

Bookings & Deposits

  • A booking is confirmed once a deposit has been paid or written confirmation has been received.
  • The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the event, unless otherwise agreed.

 

Cancellations & Changes

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event may incur a cancellation fee.
  • Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a new date (subject to availability).
  • If you need to reschedule, we will do our best to accommodate your new date.

 

Weather Policy

  • For outdoor events, a suitable indoor or undercover backup area must be provided.
  • In extreme weather conditions (e.g. heavy rain or heat), adjustments may be required for safety.



Safety & Supervision

  • A responsible adult must be present at all times during children’s parties or events.
  • The Clown Company entertainers are not responsible for supervising children.
  • We reserve the right to stop or adjust activities if safety becomes a concern.



Access, Space & Setup

  • Adequate space must be provided for the entertainer to perform safely.
  • Easy access to the event location is required, including parking where possible.
  • Delays caused by access issues may reduce performance time.

 

Photography & Media

  • We may take photos or short videos at events for promotional purposes, with permission.
  • If you do not wish for photos to be taken or used, please inform us prior to or during the event.

 

Damage & Liability

  • While we take the utmost care, The Clown Company is not responsible for:
  • Damage to property or clothing during activities
  • Allergic reactions to face paint or materials (we use high-quality, skin-safe products)
  • Clients are responsible for any damage caused by guests to the entertainer’s equipment.



Delays & Timing

  • Our entertainers will arrive on time and perform for the agreed duration.
  • If the event starts late, we may not be able to extend the finish time due to other bookings.

 

Payments

  • Payments can be made via [insert methods – bank transfer, cash, etc.].
  • Late payments may incur additional fees.

 

Force Majeure

  • In the unlikely event we are unable to attend due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control, we will:
  • Offer a suitable replacement entertainer where possible, or
  • Provide a full refund of any payments made

 

Agreement

 

By confirming a booking with The Clown Company, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
